As the daughter of a Jewish mother and a Hispanic father, Michelle grew up in a unique environment and had very little connection to the Jewish world during her childhood. During her junior year of high school, the tragic event of September 11th led to a domino effect that took her eventually to Israel. Over the following years, she began devoting her life to Israel and the Jewish people.
